YPH chosen as waste contractor for new Waitrose store

Image 1 Image 2 Image 3

When the Co-op closed down its store in Sherborne, Dorset earlier this year, Waitrose took the store on.

But before opening in April, the interior was gutted and completely refitted over a period of three weeks, with the site working up to 24 hours a day.

YPH Waste was selected as the waste contractor due to its capability to supply and reliably change at short notice a range of containers.

These included 40yd roll-on bins for rubbish, 12yd skips for plasterboard, 8yd skips for hardcore as well as containers for hazardous items including fridges and similar equipment.

Typically these were emptied daily, often early in the morning but with YPH responding to any call through the day.

The work was completed to schedule and the store opened on 3 April.
