A client in the aerospace and defence sector, who had a variety of old hazardous wastes from several production processes, requested YPH to undertake a comprehensive investigation to initially determine what the different wastes actually were and then to recommend appropriate treatment.
The materials were tested, identified and a proposal to dispose of them was agreed with the client.
Replacement UN approved drums were supplied as necessary, and all items were made safe by re-drumming or the pumping of wastes into replacement drums.
All materials were then palletised, labelled, wrapped & banded, to comply with all road and waste regulations, and transported to a suitably licenced recycling facility.
