YPH was commissioned to provide the waste services for the demolition of an old office building on a former Scottish & Southern Energy site. This was to make way for re-development of the site for retail purposes, the site being located near to a town centre.
The waste emanating from the demolition was mainly stone and soil which was removed in 20yd roll-on bins.
Additionally 40yd roll-ons were used for mixed waste, and an enclosed lockable skip was provided for bonded asbestos sheets coming out of the roof.
The contents of the roll-on bins was recycled in our transfer station, while the asbestos was taken to the nearest licensed disposal site. In all 17 containers were used on the job.
